Key : Water Sensitive Development, Low Energy Building, Green Urban Space, Social Emotional Approach.

This building resembles ancient temples and is designed without electricity to emphasize architecture’s alignment with nature. As a tsunami memorial, it functions more as a landscape and public urban space, with a hollow structure that allows water to flow beneath it. The roof serves as a potential refuge in case of similar disasters. The folded structure symbolizes our uncertainty about what constitutes a pillar, roof, or wall when nature devastates everything. The inscriptions are not names of victims, as remembrance in this way is unnecessary; rather, the writing reflects our loss of words in the face of nature and our Creator.
