Key : Green Urban Space, Historical Building Conservation, Low Energy Building
This historical area has been compromised by a pendopo that is no longer original. The original pendopo was a wooden joglo building from the 1800s. Restoring it to its original state is no longer feasible because the materials dismantled in the 1990s can no longer be traced, leading to high costs and long timelines. The proposal is to replace the concrete listplank with a design that matches the original form, creating wider eaves to reduce indoor heat. Meanwhile, the guest house and Dharma Wanita office wings will have grass roofs, blending with the garden landscape. This approach increases urban green space and brings tranquility to the Regent’s official residence.
