Key : Water Sensitive Development, Trees Conservation
Current aviation technology still requires runways that take up land and involve cutting down trees. On the ground side, this proposed VVIP terminal aims to preserve as many trees and absorption areas as possible to maintain the microclimate around the building. Rainwater is collected in a single location, forming a rainwater catchment basin.
The design is kept simple due to the very short construction timeline. The traditional roof is split into three sections for heat release, while the edges are extended to provide maximum shade for the building.
